About Us

Let us introduce ourselves. Our names are Benjamin and Elisabeth. We are courting. Yes, courting is the term, not dating, and yes, there is a difference. We are, as they used to say, "going steady". In short, we like each other (a lot, actually), but we aren't just doing this for fun (though we ARE a lot of fun, not gonna lie.) Actually, we are pretty serious about our future together. We want to get married. And this courtship time is like, the engaged-to-be-engaged phase of our relationship, while we wait for God to get everything lined up just right. We have come to find that he is pretty good at that.

Benjamin is turning twenty in May, and is studying Information Technology at JCCC. He is a little bit quirky and reads Star Wars books, but he is great at making Elisabeth laugh, and is secretly a hopeless romantic. Elisabeth is turning 18 soon and wants to be a teacher. She is a little bit quirky herself, and is in love with literature and old things. (She is also in love with Benjamin.)

Our lives are pretty crazy these days, as we juggle college, jobs, and family, but God is also pretty good at keeping us grounded throughout all the juggling. We're pretty grateful for that. We are also pretty grateful He gave us each other. Oh, and did we mention we plan to live happily ever after?
